COMPANY PROFILE
Graph Building is a commercial building contractor based in Newcastle, in the Lower Hunter Region of New South Wales, on Australia’s eastern seaboard. Graph commenced operations on 1 July 1999, when its senior management bought out a building business which had been in operation for almost four decades. Consequently, some of its staff and senior managers have effectively worked in the organisation for many years beyond the actual life of Graph.
As a commercial builder based in a regional centre, Graph has constructed a wide diversity of project types, including office buildings and fitouts, schools, clubs, aged care facilities, retail facilities, hotels, multi-deck car parks, etc. It also constructs multi-unit residential projects (both medium density and multi-level apartment buildings). Graph not only has the expertise to deliver a diversity of projects, but and it can do so under a range of contract arrangements including traditional tender, design and construct, project/construction management (often with a guaranteed maximum price), cost plus, etc. Projects are typically valued in the range $1m to $20m, and are mostly located in the Lower Hunter region, although Graph will construct projects elsewhere in regional New South Wales.
Graph’s simple philosophy is to provide quality workmanship, genuine service and competitive pricing as the foundation of the company’s ongoing success.
Graph utilises an Integrated Management System to assist in the management of all its projects. The system is under continual development and refinement to meet the ever changing nature of the construction industry, and to improve management practices.
The Graph Management System is accredited as complying with the following standards:
- ISO9001 - Quality Management Requirements
- ISO14001 – Environmental Management System
- AS4801 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System
For much of its history, Graph leased premises in the Lake Macquarie suburb of Belmont, but on 30 March 2009, Graph opened for business in new premises in Adamstown, a suburb of Newcastle. Owned by a Graph company, the building has been created by the re-development of two old metal sheds, and provides space for Graph’s offices, storage, and future growth. Set on the edge of a suburban industrial estate, the new building is striking in its appearance, yet compliments the residential development which it adjoins.
This website provides only a broad overview of Graph Building. Its capacity to handle any particular project can best be gauged by specific enquiry of the company.
